Welcome to SEFU. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SEFU mobile application (“the App”). By using SEFU, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use SEFU. If you are between 13 and 18, you should have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree not to share your account with others or impersonate someone else. You are responsible for all activity that happens through your account.
If you use Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, you are also bound by Apple’s or Google’s respective terms.
SEFU provides weekly mentor-style growth challenges, daily micro-challenges, bonus challenges (for premium users), and a personal journal. The service is delivered through the mobile App.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We will try to give notice for significant changes, but we are not obligated to do so.
This is important.
SEFU is a personal growth tool. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, psychological, or mental health treatment. The content in SEFU is for informational and motivational purposes only.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or any serious psychological distress, contact a qualified professional or emergency services immediately. In the United States, you can call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) any time.
Do not rely on SEFU for medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional for medical, psychiatric, or psychological concerns.
SEFU offers a free tier and a premium subscription tier.
The free tier includes access to a set of weekly challenges in your primary focus area, daily micro-challenges, and the personal journal. The free tier is available without payment.
The premium subscription unlocks additional features, including bonus challenges, advanced levels in your focus area, and access to all nine focus areas.
Premium subscriptions are offered as:
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID or Google account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings (on iOS) or Google Play account settings (on Android).
Each premium subscription includes a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the full subscription price. To avoid charges, cancel before the trial expires through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
All purchases are handled by Apple’s App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective refund policies. SEFU does not process refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.
You retain ownership of any content you create in SEFU (your journal entries, reflections, follow-up notes). By using the App, you grant SEFU a limited license to store and display this content within your account for the purpose of providing the service.
We will not share, sell, or use your journal content for any purpose other than providing the service to you.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms.
All content in the App — including challenge text, design, graphics, the SEFU name and logo, and the underlying software — is owned by SEFU and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially use any of it without permission.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, about the App’s reliability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App may experience downtime, bugs, or data loss. While we work to prevent these, we cannot guarantee they will not happen.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SEFU is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You can stop using SEFU at any time. To delete your account, email support@sefu.app or use the account deletion option in Settings (when available).
We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. We will give reasonable notice when possible.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top and notify users via in-app message or email for significant changes. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
