This Privacy Policy explains how SEFU (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the SEFU mobile application (“the App”). By using SEFU, you agree to the practices described here.
SEFU is a personal growth mobile application that delivers weekly mentor-style challenges across nine life categories. We operate from the United States and serve users primarily in the U.S.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising targeting. We do not share your journal entries or reflections with anyone outside SEFU.
SEFU uses the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle data passed to them.
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers in the United States. We use Firebase’s standard security rules to ensure only you can access your own data (your account UID is the access key).
We do not store payment information ourselves. All payments are handled by Apple or Google through their respective app stores.
While no system is perfectly secure, we follow industry-standard practices to protect your data.
SEFU is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at support@sefu.app and we will delete the account.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, tax records related to subscription purchases).
SEFU sends you reminder notifications about your challenges and progress. You can disable these at any time in your device settings or in the App’s Settings → Notifications screen.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top and notify users via in-app message or email for significant changes. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
